Meet the Team

Hi! We are the GO: team and we love sharing stories of modern missions to the world. We are hard at work to bring these stories to you in a bigger way. Drop us a line and say hello.

Who we are:

Shane McMullin

Shane has worked on theatrical films, international documentaries, televisions shows and commercials. The most notable projects are Sherwood Pictures films Courageous and Fireproof. Ultimately, Shane wants to use the cinematic medium to build Gods kingdom.

Ryan Cumbo

streaming services.

Jason Waggoner

Writer / Asst. Producer

Jason holds an MFA in screenwriting from Fullsail University. He works as a production designer for stage, film, and podcasting, and has written/story boarded trailers, commercials, documentaries, stage plays, shorts, and feature films. “I want to bring imagination to life.”

Jake Starkey

Show Host

Jake has been a spokesperson for two municipal governments, produced and directed feature films and music videos, and now runs his own marketing agency.
He likes to share the ups and downs with honesty and heart. Jake also enjoys moderating discussions and
encouraging others.

Bob Elder

Marketing Partner

Bob has worked in the Christian product marketplace for 30 years, partnering with groups such as Family Christian Stores, Word Entertainment, Big Idea Productions and most recently founding Collide Media Group. He gives insight into industry trends, moving ideas from development to optimum presence in the marketplace to achieve missional impact.

Larry Stephens

Consultant

Larry is the Hollywood Liaison for Cru. He has worked on over 30 Hollywood theatrical films helping with financing, production and promotions. He gives strategic insights into helping films be more missional and outreach focused. Larry also serves on the leadership
team with I Am Second.

The Vision

The hope for this episodic series is that it will spark a missional mindset and renew a missions passion. We desire people, communities and churches to come together and see how much of a benefit and help the Gospel can be to culture, while giving them a love for image-bearers in other cultures.

The show host utilizes the exploration of culture, cuisine and connection with some light-hearted Texan comedy. The series feels similar to Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown.

The goal for the viewer is to have an understanding of what God is doing in a particular people group on this planet, how God can use people in their own culture and how the viewer can be used in their own community to impact those around them.

Sincerely,
The GO: Team
